Welcome to Bodywave Bellydance.

We are a dance company with a particular focus on all forms of Middle Eastern Dance (also known as Bellydance) but we also like to explore all styles of world dance including Bollywood, African, Hawaiian, Latin American, etc.

As of 2009, Bodywave Bellydance will no longer be conducting regular classes as it has done, very successfully, over the past 4 years.

Instead, Bodywave Bellydance will be offering short workshops on Bellydance, Bollywood, and other styles of dance as well as a focus on costuming and stagecraft. 

Our main focus is to provide Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula the best entertainment with our new dance troupe “SHUKUMISA”.

“SHUKUMISA” will be concentrating on live high energy well synchronized beautifully choreographed routines suitable for all types of functions, school fetes, local fairs, hen’s and birthday parties or any other major event.
